Workshop: Designing for Divergent Futures

Every year the Awards evolve to better support, educate, and celebrate the UX community. We're thrilled to co-host an inspiring workshop with Domain7 that will help you anticipate the future, and act on it.

Build your skills with a hands-on seminar

As user experience designers and leaders, we are poised at the precipice of an unprecedented age: the best of our age’s technology is already here, yet more developments await. The design methodology for creating innovative new experiences is known to us, yet we often misapply it. How can we become better at anticipating the future, and designing experiences that are empowering and ethical?

“Designing for Divergent Futures” is a hybrid workshop that mixes hands-on design explorations with fresh perspectives on emerging futures. Discover the design methods that will help you filter out the noise, understand the significance of trends, and identify meaningful future opportunities. Participants will be taken through an immersive experience blending futurism, design methods, and ethics to arrive at a place of empowerment for a new digital age. Come prepared to stretch your minds, and explore new ideas as we anticipate what’s next.
